First impression: holy shit, it’s Tumblr!! Only been on a few minutes, but it is a look-and-feel clone of Tumblr! The support folks there, even though they are being swamped with people fleeing #TumblrTitanic, got back to me last night and unfucked my stuck registration process. OK, so:
At the end of the registration process and initial setup, you have to choose an interest area (femdom, quotes, art, whatever). You have to choose 3 blogs to follow, and then a “Continue” button is enabled. Press continue and Voila! You are in the Tumblr-like user interface. My handle there is:

Everyone needs to get on this! It’s essentially NSFW Tumblr but we just have to start again, while this site becomes predominantly SFW (with a NSFW black market). Bdsmlr.com looks and works almost exactly like Tumblr does now but only with NSFW stuff and it’s in baby steps so we’ll get to grow it the way we want.

I’ve been in contact with ‘The Guy’ who is over seeing the production of Cumblr.com and has informed me he has a team put together and they’re aiming for a December 17th launch! Please help share this information more for a great success!
Because the tumblr world is about to collapse, I’m going to break my usual “all Daddy dick, all the time” format to post news about a possible substitute for tumblr.
My biggest fear is that this replacement will have swallowed the “credit baby” mindset that caused so much strife and unfairness here at tumblr.
It should have been a simple digital scrapbook, where everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) posted was “fair use,” regardless of who took the picture or who the subject of the picture was, but that’s not how tumblr operated. They decided to meddle with the simplicity and make mountains out of molehills, opting to give every unsunstantiated claim of so-called copyright infringement equal credence.
This meant that anyone with a bone to pick with you could fabricate 5 or more fake accounts and begin inundating tumblr with bullshit cries of “He took my photo and I want him punished.”
Y’know, the exact shit that shut my tumblr down on 3 separate occasions.
Wherever we all land, I hope the new platform is more user friendly, and less consumed with the whining of a few self-absorbed malcontents.
But we won’t know ‘til we get there, will we?

I’ve gotten a surprisingly large number of messages and PMs since Tumblr announced its new policy regarding adult content. I appreciate all the comments and questions regarding my plans. Also, I apologize for the delay in replying to the comments…I was hoping to have some solid information to provide when replying.
I’ve had several recommendations, such as Discord, and I’m certainly open to anything that lets me interact with my readers on a continuous basis. Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with most of the platforms suggested. I’m going to look at them all and see if there’s something that works for my style of content.

I have a lot of various story ideas that I will have more time to try developing now, I suppose, but I really did enjoy this particular format.
